This adventure takes us far into a region of British Columbia that is part of Gold Rush history. Deep river canyons in high-desert, sage-scented terrain. We may come across Pronghorn antelope, bighorn sheep or even bears. This is tumbleweed country. We first rode this area in 2009 and it was so unforgettable that we have wanted to go back there ever since.
This will be a level-one ride for those who are beginning to explore the dirt. We have built this ride to be just the right amount of challenge for riders who are confident riding gravel or loose surfaces, and are comfortable with standing on the pegs

During the Cariboo Gold Rush, twenty-three camels were brought into the Interior region of British Columbia as pack animals. They frightened horses, struggled on rocky ground, proved difficult to manage, and some reportedly wandered loose afterward. The Camelsfoot Range and Lillooet’s “Bridge of the Twenty-Three Camels” preserve the story.
“They bit and kicked everything that moved and smelled so foul that horses and mules would bolt their lode and sometimes fall off the road to their deaths.”
Within four months of their introduction, a government order outlawed the camels from the Cariboo Trail.

You will be riding road legal Honda CRF300Ls equipped with Motoz Tractionator tires, Giant Loop luggage and Adventure Spec armour. The 300 is the perfect tool for the job - capable on rough roads while being ultra comfortable for a full day’s worth of riding.
