This is an advanced course that arms you with the skills required to confidently attack logs and obstacles that you will commonly encounter on the trail. This course will include log crossing stations, on-the-trail instruction and trail time to apply what you have learned. Our objective is to have you leave eRag headquarters with hair on your chest, regardless of gender. Instruction is tailored to individual riding ability, so intermediate riders will be brought step by step through the basics, while advanced riders who are already comfortable with basic log crossing will be pushed beyond their current abilities and will leave with skills they didn’t think they were capable of!

Minimum requirements

This is an advanced course. To attend, you must have completed one of our training sessions or be able to:

  • Confidently cross logs of 10-inch/25-cm

  • Loft the front wheel for accurate wheel placement

  • Understand and demonstrate Weight/Deweight

  • Display reasonable static balance skills

If you are not able to meet the above requirements, you’ll have a great time learning them at Summer School, while complete beginners will love our Zero to Hero course.

Curriculum

Our curriculum is based on the techniques of trials riders –the best two-wheeled riders on the planet.

Our teaching focuses on progressive learning, linking each concept to the next. Unlocking these abilities will allow you to achieve your full riding potential with skills for a lifetime on two-wheels.
